Why do people call him Jesus? His real name is Yeshua.

Insightful post,There has gotta be a 100 million folks on this earth,who really belief that Jesus actually spoke that archaic old english.

The King James version of 1611 say's "Authorized" on the cover.[ Authorized by his benevolent majesty King James of England NOT God Almighty.]

One thing is for sure Jesus mother Mary did NOT call him Jesus.

We don't even know for sure what Jesus native tongue was.

The " J " in Jesus comes from the " J " in Jehovah.I believe the " Y " got Latinized in the 5th century and morphed to " J "

That is one of several reasons that Jehovah is not the correct pronunciation of God's name.

i heard a senior elder at my congregation meeting a couple of weeks ago say that he heard the branch overseer for the canadian bethel, brother ken little, say, ?now most of the money coming in to the society is from seniors and their donations.?

the elder had recently been on a tour of the canadian bethel.

he also mentioned how brother little was telling about one woman who apparently ?left everything to the society.

this is a regular thing now, whenever i go into an upscale restaurant a bunch of jw's start shouting insults and bring up things about my past.. recently i went in to a restaurant i've been dying to try on 14th street and someone on the restaurant staff was telling the other staff members all of my business from the brroklyn heights congregation.. he obviously thought i would give a damn about anything they said.

i just relaxed and ignored them.. when i got up to use the ladies room a bunch of the sisters followed me in fortunately the bathroom was way too small for even two people.

they are some sorry souls, i guess it was like i thought we killed her whats she doing in here?
